I fixed it, sort of

I took care of the one problem that was bugging me on this page, but I had to upgrade the entire template to do it. This upgrade was also necessary in order for me to install a new function on the page, which I’m not going to talk about just yet, because I don’t think it’s working yet.

The upgrade has resulted in a slightly different look for the page. Some of you may not notice the difference, but it’s practically screaming at me, and I don’t like the altered look at all.

I just could not figure out what to do to the old template to fix the problem. I tried deleting this, adding that, all to no avail. I’ve also been trying for a week to get the new function to work in the old template, but the upgrade had to be done, because the old template wouldn’t accept the new function at all.

Basically, I’m going to have to learn to live with the new look. I realize that this entry and last night’s are nothing special, so I didn’t even bother sending out update emails to those of you who get them.

I have a feeling I’ll spend a lot of the weekend working on this.
