The first 15 days
The year 2009 is officially 15 days old, and this is technically my first entry since 2008. I did do a brief piece a couple of days ago at my MySpace page, I consider this to be my OFFICIAL page, so the other doesn’t really count.
Not much has happened over the course of the past 15 days. I’m still looking for work. I signed up to do some writing at another site, but I’m not giving away any details about that until I’m completely ready to go on it.
My sister is getting married this coming Saturday the 17th. Her other brothers and I get to be ushers. It should be a fun day. I just hope Dad gets over his triple pneumonia or whatever the hell he has before then. It wouldn’t be quite as cool a day if he weren’t there.
Bella seems to get weirder with each passing day. The colder it gets, the more she wants to go outside for no particular reason. She and I had a bit of a disagreement last night. She decided it would be a swell idea for me to give her supper an hour early. I saw no reason why she couldn’t wait until the normal time. I then came and sat at the computer to put a few finishing touches on my initial work for the new writing project, and I kept hearing strange noises coming from the kitchen. I snuck out, and she was busy helping herself to the garbage. This is something she never does, because she knows it is verboten. I took the garbage out of her mouth, and she was promptly rewarded for her behavior with a smack on the rump and a time-out on the couch. Needless to say, she was well behaved for the rest of the night.
Other than that, not much is going on. I’ve been on a bit of a writing streak for a couple of days, so I figured I might as well dash something off to post here. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
